"Blue Bossa" was composed by trumpeter Kenny Dorham and recorded on Joe Henderson's debut album "Page One" in 1963, blending jazz harmony with the newly emerging bossa nova rhythms from Brazil. It features a distinctive key change from C minor to D-flat major and has become a jazz standard widely played in sessions and jam contexts.
