"I Giorni" (The Days, 2001) is one of the signature works of Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi, inspired by an ancient African song he encountered in Mali. The minimalist, hypnotic piano piece became widely popular and is emblematic of Einaudi's accessible neo-classical style.
