Originally a soprano aria from Puccini's one-act opera Gianni Schicchi (1918), "O Mio Babbino Caro" is one of the most recognizable melodies in the operatic repertoire, in which Lauretta pleads with her father to approve her marriage. This arrangement by Jeron Joseph adapts the soaring vocal line for solo piano.
