"Por Una Cabeza" is an iconic Argentine tango composed by Carlos Gardel with lyrics by Alfredo Le Pera in 1935, shortly before Gardel's tragic death in a plane crash. The piece gained renewed global fame through its use in the films Scent of a Woman (1992) and Schindler's List (1993), and this string quartet arrangement by Michael Tan preserves its passionate, melancholic character.
